The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Bank’s marketing plan by performing or coordinating all marketing efforts within the organization. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator acts as the Bank’s communications director and internal brand champion.
•Assists in the development of and enthusiastically embraces the Bank’s brand. Acts as the internal brand champion by ensuring marketing, communications and other activities reflects the bank’s brand. Leading by example, encourages all employees to embody the Bank’s brand.
•Leads the Bank’s Marketing Committee and any other related committees by coordinating all meetings, agenda items and communications.
•Oversees and works closely with third party vendors who provide marketing plan design, advertising campaign development, analytics, direct mail, digital and other marketing services.
•Working either individually or in coordination with a third party, performs many of the Bank’s marketing activities such as media placement, printing and production of marketing materials, coordination of direct mail or email campaigns and event coordination.
•Assists senior management in product development by researching options and competitor offerings and providing advice from a marketing perspective.
•Working with the Bank’s staff and its website vendor, creates and maintains the Bank’s informational website.
•Assists the President and senior management in public relations.
•Creates, maintains and manages the Bank’s social media presence.
•Maintains and communicates a calendar of marketing activity.
•Effectively manages the day-to-day marketing tasks. Responsible for timely communication and coordination with Bank staff to insure successful execution of marketing efforts.
•Acts as the Bank’s communications director by either authoring or coordinating internal and external communications. Ensures communications are thorough and that all interested parties receive communications in a timely manner. Ensures communications are consistent, professional and in keeping with the Bank’s brand.
•Coordinates customer appreciation and community awareness events.
•Manages the Banks various sponsorship and community support activities.
•Manages the compliance review of marketing materials and maintains appropriate records.
•Participates in community service opportunities.
•Completes all internal training assignments in a timely manner.
•Is knowledgeable about and follows the banks policies, procedures and regulations.
•Reviews required policies annually.
•Is knowledgeable about Bank products and services, promotes the Bank and looks for opportunities to refer customers who may benefit from additional products or services.
•Portrays overall professional behavior whenever conducting bank business.
