Emergent Health Partners, Michigan’s largest ambulance service provider with 800+ employees, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who can "think outside the box" to cultivate new strategies to grow interest in our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) education program as well as employment opportunities. The primary functions for this role will be promoting the company's EMS education program to various populations and creating approaches and strategies to attract qualified EMS licensed personnel to the organization.


Position Responsibilities
• Conducts numerous presentations to high school student at schools in Southeast and Southwest Michigan. 
• Interfaces with school administrators to develop long lastly relationships and gain access to the student population to educate them on the opportunities Emergent Health Partners can provide. 
• Take the lead in coordinating events including student field trips and open houses to our Ann Arbor headquarters facility. 
• This position will be responsible for attending job fairs/expos as well as presenting at other EMS educational facilities. 
• Participates in community events and assists with the company's veteran and minority student hiring initiatives. 
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications
• This position requires knowledge normally acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent combination of work experience and education. 
• This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
• Upbeat and outgoing personality with experience in recruiting, preferably in the healthcare industry, is desired or demonstrated healthcare sales experience. 
• This position works primarily outside of the office setting at high schools, community events and job fairs with hours that may include evenings and/or weekends. 
• The successful candidate must possess the ability and passion to effectively communicate and mentor high school students through ongoing group presentations. 
 • Demonstrated time management, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to organize student group events. 
• Strong PC skills including Excel spreadsheet and report generation and HRIS system utilization, along with the ability to manage and stay connected to interested students and applicants through various social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. 
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required.
