Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations to achieve exceptional business results. They lead a team of staff members to deliver excellent customer service, develop and maintain product knowledge, and present a professional company image throughout all aspects of the organization.

Position Responsibilities
• Achieves sales and profit plan by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution. 
• Focuses on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained. 
• Resolves customer issues quickly and efficiently. 
• Maintains a high level of associate engagement through effective leadership. 
• Maintains an understanding of the local market, operations-based selling, and customer base. 
• Recruits, trains, directs, motivates, and disciplines associates and assists them in resolving issues.
• Ensures that the appearance of the store’s exterior and interior, including merchandising displays, are maintained to required standards. 
• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• The completion of a high school diploma is required. 
• Three (3) to five (5) years of retail store experience with management experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be available to work variable shifts and hours.

• Professional demeanor and outstanding communication skills on all levels (verbal, written, presentation). 
• Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. 
 • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. 
• Strong leadership and customer service skills. 
• Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries is preferred. 
• High-energy attitude with the ability to delegate work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely.
