summary
The incumbent will work closely on various human resources consulting projects. The Client Services Assistant acts as a liaison between Hiring Solutions LLC (HSLLC) customers, clients and vendors. This position works closely with and supports the President and Consultants in supporting talent acquisition processes and human resource consulting assignments in multiple human resource functional areas.


Position Responsibilities
• Provides administrative and clerical support to the president and support consultants.
• Answers telephone and routes calls to staff members as required.  Responds to general inquiries concerning the activities within the Company by referring to current information sources or to established policies and procedures. 
• Organizes, assembles, and distributes material for presentations and client related activities.  
• Obtains and relays information, and responds to inquiries in a manner requiring considerable knowledge of the policies, procedures and operations of the office.
• Establishes, maintains and revises record keeping and filing systems; classifies, sorts and files correspondence, records and other documents. Prepares letters, memos, proposals, and general correspondence.  Assists in editing reports and correspondence.
• Maintains systematic follow-up procedures to ensure that deadlines are met and that information or material required from outside sources is received on a timely basis.
• Proofreads and corrects draft and final copy materials for appropriate and consistent format, accuracy of information, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
• Establishes, maintains and updates company information such as preparing files and entering relevant data onto a computer database.
• Works with HSLLC consultants and clients to define position requirements, draft position descriptions, prepare job postings.
• Posts positions to HSLLC website, Indeed, LinkedIn, MI Works, and other outside social media sites and job posting locations.
• Participate as needed in intake meetings with clients to gain an understanding of organizational needs for human resource consulting projects in the fields of talent management, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and personnel management among others. 
• Conducts reference checks on selected candidates and prepares summaries for client consideration.
• Administers pre-employment assessments, initiating background check and preparation of results to send to clients when needed. This includes explaining the assessment.
• Monitors and restocks office supplies as needed.
• Binds final candidate portfolios for distribution to clients.
• Prepares electronic candidate portfolios for clients.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the President and/or Consultants.
• Schedules for client and consultant meetings and interview appointments.
Qualifications
• This position requires knowledge normally acquired through an associates degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of one to three years of experience in a human resources or business-oriented position. 


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work accurately and maintain close attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written, and human relations skills.
• Operates a variety of standard office machines and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.  
• Strong writing and proofreading skills are required. 
• Knowledge of office methods and procedures is desirable. 
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is preferred. 
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy.
