We help clients identify factors critical to high performance including: sales, clerical, technical, supervisory and administrative and executive positions. Our Testing and Assessment tools target skills, aptitudes, personality characteristics, behavioral traits and developmental needs. Clients have the flexibility to use any or all of our assessment products.
The use of assessments enables organizations to accurately compare and evaluate candidates on multiple criteria. Pre-employment assessments can assist organizations in making better hiring decisions which results in less employee turnover, more efficient onboarding, identification of specific development needs, and improved training programs that are targeted to individual shortcomings. All assessments used are in compliance with E.E.O.C. and other federal regulations and should not be used as the sole determination in hiring decisions.
Personality and Mental Aptitude Assessments
This assessment measures multiple mental and personality traits and is an industry proven predictor of on the job success. This evaluation typically takes candidates an hour to complete. We will provide clients with the assessment score, a five page written report and a verbal evaluation to the hiring manager.
Behavioral Assessments
This assessment evaluates candidates on four distinct leadership attributes. This assessment typically takes candidates fifteen minutes to complete. Clients will be provided with a seven page “Insight Profile” detailing the individual’s commitment and cooperation tendencies, ability to work effectively in a team, ability to resolve and prevent conflict and ability to gain influence in an organization.
Reliability Tests
This evaluation determines a candidate’s level of risk on seven behavior scales: emotional maturity, job conscientiousness, trustworthiness, job commitment, and others. This will aid in the selection of reliable employees and will screen out individuals possessing unreliable behavior. This is an untimed assessment that typically takes applicants fifteen minutes to complete. Clients will be provided with a one page summary of the candidate’s ranking on each scale.
Ability to Learn Assessments
This assessment measures an applicant’s ability to learn and provides interpretive data that indicates job (promotion) potential, education potential, and training potential. It is a widely recognized test of general cognitive ability and has a proven track record of helping employers identify, select, place, train, and promote qualified individuals. This assessment takes applicants twelve minutes to complete. We guide you through the interpretation and provide a one page summary detailing the candidate’s score.
Skills Tests
Interactive skills evaluations are used to verify whether job candidates have the necessary software skills needed for a particular position. It can also be used to assess the skill levels of current personnel to focus training and reduce training costs. We offer Standard and Expert level software skills tests that quickly and accurately measure an individual’s skills with common Microsoft Office programs.
Standard skills assessment modules have 30 to 35 items and take 20 to 35 minutes to complete. Expert modules contain 45 to 50 items and require 30 to 45 minutes to complete. We have the capability to administer on-site or at a remote location.
